The program clisos is a command line client for access to the data provided by the Institute for Bio- and Geosciences (IBG-3) of Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH via standardized OGC Sensor Observation Services (SOS). It is written in Pyhton. For more detailed information on the SOS standard, see [OGC SOS]. The client described here accesses these services via the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), allowing access independent of the internal structure of the data.
